The place is surrounded by lush rainforests and highlands where Lun Bawang, the local natives reside.

In Lun Bawang’s language, Menangang means Hornbill - an exquisitely rare and endangered bird species of Sarawak.

Swim In The River 10 minute drive from Menangang Place to a natural swimming pool - a beautiful river and enjoy a warm afternoon dip.	Fish Catching Drive approximately 15 minutes to village Long Lidong. The river in the village is abundance with Ikan Semah - one of the most expensive fishes in Malaysia.
